Paris Fashion Week

As mentioned in a previous post I was lucky enough to be have the chance to be at Paris Fashion Week by interning in the Matthew Williamson showroom. Although this meant I didn't get to see any shows (well try and blag my way into one). It was pretty cool being in Paris while all these amazing catwalk shows were going on, a favourite of mine being the Marc Jacobs/ Louis Vuitton steam train! (More on this later)

I 'd never worked in a show room before but when I used to help my Mother be a buyer for her bridal boutique (the Bridal Box, Oxford) I attended many showrooms so I had an idea of what it would be like. Interning is never a glamourous job but everyone at Matthew Williamson was so friendly and lovely it made such a difference.

I was working 8.30am-8.30pm most days which left very little time for site seeing and touristy activities. This is what I saw:

I  love love love Paris, its so beautiful! It was really fun going out for drinks with the other interns and going out in Paris. I was lucky enough to be able to stay with a friend who is on his year abroad in Paris, his flat overlooks the Eiffel Tour! A hashtagAMAZEBALLS moment!

Below are a few photos of the Mattthew Williamson collection A/W12 (more will be uploaded soon, but the images are currently on my phone). If you want to see the full collection check out my last post which showcases both SS12 AND AW12.
